Medicines comprise one of the biggest dangers of poisoning for kids because they are present in every home. It is imperative for parents to keep every kind of medicine out of the reach of children. In fact, it’s recommended that you keep them under lock and key. Many kids are tempted to eat medicines because they enjoy imitating their elders. Sometimes they may give medicine to their younger brother or sister. Even painkillers and common allergy medicines are poisonous for kids.
Mosquito Repellent Lotions and Sprays
Mosquito repellent lotions and sprays have become part and parcel of every house in Pakistan since the outbreak of Dengue fever in 2012. Kids may not only try to apply such lotions but to taste them, too. There are other poisonous liquids at home, such as toilet cleaner. Such cleaning solutions are poisonous and must be kept away from kids.

If you have a garden or lawn at home, there might be poisonous plants. Consult with an expert about the plants in your garden to save your kids.
Leftover Paints
We often keep unused paint for later use. Typically this paint is stored either in the garage or in another area accessible to kids. Because of this, it is better to dispose of leftover paints or oils.
